About Me

I am a wife, mother, and photographer. That is the way life works best for me. I have been capturing my families memories for the past ten years and decided sometime ago to start capturing other families memories. I love meeting new families and getting to know each one of them personally. Being invited to watch them connect, love, and have fun with each other is such a great gift. I want your session to be enjoyable, stress free, and fun. I want your photos to show who you and your family are and the love you have for each other. To be able to go back years from now and remember your child's sweet smile, or the way your loved ones eyes sparkle, is my gift to you. You can see a more complete portfolio, or e-mail me by clicking on the links below. I look forward to meeting you and your family.

Blessings come in all shapes and sizes

Mine, is hidden beneath a wealth of golden blonde hair, bright blues eyes, and possesses a wonderful smile. Joseph is my now three year old. In the photos he had just tuned two. Joseph was born four days early and had a condition with a large name, which in the end meant his intestines had collapsed. He was rushed off to Egalston and into surgery at 15 hours old. We spent almost a month at that amazing hospital, waiting and watching him fight. We knew from the beginning that he was a fighter; he had that look about him. He would grab your finger and you knew his little hand held strength. He can smile and you know that his heart holds so much love and kindness. I don’t know if because of what he went through as a newborn or if it’s just the way he is but each and everyday is a new day to him. He has always had such life and spirit about him. When you look into those eyes, you see a love of life, people and things around him.

Now, with all that also comes an amazing temper, an out spoken nature and unbelievable amount of stubbornness. When he gets mad everyone knows he is mad. He has no problem in telling you or for that matter showing you how mad he is. He can stay mad for a few minuets, several hours, or he has even been known to still be mad about something two or three days later. Good or bad he is still truly a blessing. We are so lucky to have been given such an amazing gift. Now I will share a small piece of him with you all.
